W. Lake Hearne

   W. Lake Hearne earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Louisiana State University in 1978. While at LSU, he was a member of the Louisiana Law Review and received the American Jurisprudence Award in Contracts in recognition of outstanding academic achievement.

   He continued his legal education at Louisiana State University Law School, earning a Juris Doctor degree in 1981. That same year, he was admitted to practice law in the state of Louisiana. 

   In addition to his admission to the Louisiana State Bar, he is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Western District of Louisiana and the United States Supreme Court. 

   He has maintained an active legal career since his admission to the bar in 1981.
